Blah … environment … blah blah
It seems like the entire modern world cares deeply about the environment all of the sudden. I personally find nothing more annoying than those people who would rather shoot themselves in the foot with a green gun than consider the greater picture of progress.
The rich helping the poor
This past spring, I went to China, India, and South Africa. In many ways, I was reassured in my cultural traditions, I also developed some severe misgivings. Namely, I cringe at how, we, the privileged, interpret our “care” for the poor.
