What do you do on the weekends?
Work on our country property, garden, work on my blog and
personal writing and grade student work!

What’s the craziest thing you did when you were in college?
That I can say in public? Let’s see … Halloween was huge
for me as a UVa. undergrad, and it still is. I once ran
amuck dressed as a bad guy from the old Mel Gibson
film, “The Road Warrior.” Some drunk picked a fight with
me and when he threw a punch, I flinched and his fist hit
    my motorcycle helmet. Fight over.

What’s one thing your students would never guess about you?
That I’m a very selective user of technology. I blog, use
virtual worlds and can design Web pages, but I don’t use
a cell phone and bike to work whenever I can.

    • Fire your proofreader, unless it was me who used "amuck" rather than the correct spelling, "amok," in the piece about my college years.

I might have made such an error in haste, except it's not one of my typical errors :)
