Police Report: 02/17/11

Vandalism

Feb. 8, 12:08 p.m. A rear window, valued at $10, was damaged. A door mat was vandalized with the word "risk" in the 1600 block of the University Forest Apartments.

Feb. 11, 5:29 p.m. A door frame, valued at $50, was damaged in the 1600 block of the apartments.

Feb. 12, 10:59 a.m. A fire extinguisher, valued at $100, was damaged in Atlantic House.

Feb. 12, 11:09 a.m. The left side of a Westhampton College student's GMC Sierra was scratched in the Dining Hall parking lot. The damages were estimated at $500.

Feb. 13, 3:14 a.m. Two exit signs, valued at $200, were damaged in Marsh Hall.

Theft

Feb. 10, 2:34 p.m. A WC student's gold and diamond ring, valued at $1,000, was stolen from the Modlin Center for the Arts.

Feb. 12, 10:50 a.m. Various consumable goods, valued at $110.02, were stolen from a vending machine in North Court.

Drunkenness/ Liquor Law Violation

Feb. 10, 11:24 p.m. A WC student was referred to the dean for underage possesion of alcohol by consumption and drunkenness.

Feb. 13, 1:46 a.m. A WC student was arrested in the 600 block of the apartments for public intoxication and underage possesion of alcohol by consumption. She was referred to the dean.

Liquor Law Violation

Feb. 11, 12:41 a.m. A WC student was referred to the dean for underage possesion of alcohol by consumption on Westhampton Way.

Feb. 11, 1:20 a.m. A Richmond College and WC student were referred to the dean for underage posession of alcohol by consumption after they failed to pay a cab fare on Westhampton Way.

Feb. 12, 12:30 a.m. A WC student was referred to the dean for underage possesion of alcohol by consumption in New Fraternity Row.

Liquor Law Violation/Illness

Feb. 12, 12:18 a.m. An underage female not affiliated with the university was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for an alcohol-related illness. The WC student she was visiting was referred to the dean.

Drunkenness

Feb. 12, 2:31 a.m. An RC student was arrested for public intoxication in the 600 block of the apartments.

Drug/Narcotic Violation

Feb. 13, 2:42 a.m. An RC student was arrested for possession of marijuana in Dennis Hall. He was referred to the dean.

Larceny

Feb. 13, 4:11 p.m. A WC student's iPhone 4, valued at $600, and purple cover, valued at $30, were stolen from the 100 block of the apartments.
