Police Report: 04/14/11

Vandalism

April 9, 3:32 p.m. An RC student damaged the tail light of a Hyundai off campus. The damaged was estimated at $50. The student was referred to the dean for vandalism and public intoxication.

April 9, 9:40 p.m. The wheels of an RC student's charbroil grill were damaged in the 300 block of the UFA. The damage was estimated at $50.

April 10, 2:35 a.m. An RC student was referred to the dean for breaking a lock and entering Jepson Hall. This student was found asleep on a couch in Jepson, and was also referred to the dean for possession of alcohol by consumption.

Harassing Communications

April 4, 10:44 p.m. A WC student reported receiving harassing threats off campus from a person unaffiliated with the university.

Rape

April 6, 4:15 p.m. An RC student raped a WC student in Fraternity Row.

Burglary

April 8, 11:45 a.m. A hula hoop with LED lights, valued at $150, a regular hula hoop, valued at $50, and $200 in cash was stolen from an WC student in the 1500 block of UFA.

Liquor Law Violation

April 9, 10:23 a.m. An RC student was arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, alcohol and a fake identification in South Court.

April 9, 12:02 p.m. An RC student was arrested for possession and underage consumption of alcohol in Marsh Hall. He will face criminal court in the city.

April 9, 3:23 p.m. An RC student was referred to the dean for posession of alcohol by consumption in Fraternity Row.

April 9, 1:30 p.m. A WC student was referred to the dean for underage consumption of alcohol in the Special Events Lot.

April 9, 12:26 a.m. An RC student was referred to the dean for disorderly conduct and posession of alcohol by consumption in Lora Robins Court.

Drunkenness in Public

April 9, 12:39 p.m. An RC student was arrested for drunkenness in public and underage possession of alcohol on Cooling Tower Road.

Drug/Narcotic/Liquor Violation

April 9, 10:23 a.m. An RC student was arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, alcohol and a fake identification in South Court.

April 9, 5:20 p.m. Two RC students were placed on administrative report and referred to the dean for possession of drug equipment and possession of alcohol in Marsh Hall. One of the students was referred for possession of marijuana.

Indecent Exposure

April 9, 3:32 p.m. A male not affiliated with the university was arrested on a charge of urinating in public on Westhampton Way.

Theft

April 9, 1:38 p.m. A golf cart was stolen from an RC student on Gateway Road.

April 10, 3:14 p.m. A canvas backpack was stolen from an RC student in Jepson Hall. The contents included three notebooks, valued at $30, two French textbooks, valued at $210, and an Apple laptop, valued at $1,200.

April 11, 3:20 p.m. An organic chemistry textbook, valued at $30, and an MCAT textbook, valued at $30, were stolen from a WC student in Gottwald Science Center.

April 11, 3:27 p.m. Twenty pottery pieces, valued at $200, were stolen from the Modlin Center.

Hit and Run/Property Damage

April 12, 12:39 p.m. An RC student's Honda Civic was hit in the 900 block of UFA. Damages were estimated at $1,500.

April 12, 1:14 p.m. A visitor's Toyota Camry was hit outside the Tyler Haynes Commons, damages were estimated at $800.

April 12, 4:34 p.m. An RC student's Volkswagen Jetta was hit in parking lot R-16, damages were estimated at $500.
