Emily is the managing editor for the print edition of The Collegian and was the paper’s copy editor from 2008-09. She is a history and journalism double major and a member of the steering committee for the University of Richmond’s chapter of Camp Kesem, which works to plan a summer camp for children of cancer patients. During the summer of 2008, Emily interned at the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey, where she wrote press releases, developed content and layout for a volunteer newsletter, and wrote several features for the organization’s Web site.

This Saturday, senior Meg McCall and senior Drew Goldfarb will race in the SunTrust Richmond Marathon, a 26.2-mile race that starts on Broad Street near 7th St. and loops through downtown Richmond and the West End, finishing on Cary Street east of 9th Street.
