Junior Rennie Harrison spent Tuesday, Oct. 4, the day of the vice presidential debate, with a man who knows a thing or two about being VP. Harrison attended a gathering of the It’s On Us national committee at the Washington, D.C., home of Vice President Joe Biden.
This week, we witnessed President Obama's shameful treatment of the leader of one of America's closest allies. This became clear when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was hauled before a "seething" Obama and read the Riot Act behind closed doors. Netanyahu was rudely dismissed and the press was not allowed to photograph even a single handshake between the two men.
The first few weeks of the Obama presidency have been marked by both triumph and embarrassment. From the left's perspective, Obama triumphed in enacting a gargantuan spending bill that is supposed to pull our economy out of its current doldrums. The passage of this bill marked the first of what liberals hope are many legislative victories for the new administration. The embarrassment came in the form of several high-profile nominees and their inability to pay taxes properly.

This morning on ABC's "Good Morning America," Sen. Joe Biden confidently asserted that the wealthiest Americans need to pay more taxes, and not only that, but that doing so is PATRIOTIC. They already shoulder a significant portion of the nation's tax burden, yet Obama and company are demanding more. Why do they plan to introduce more capital gains taxes, windfall profit taxes, and many others? Well, quite simply, to redistribute the wealth.
