The Bald Eagles scored their lone goal less than six minutes into the game, and managed to hold off the Richmond attack for the rest of the game. It was a tale of two halves for the Spiders, who looked a bit lackluster to start the game, but picked up their play significantly in the second half.

The University of Richmond field hockey team went ahead of Saint Francis University 4-0 in the first 15 minutes and never let the Red Flash back in to the game. Saint Francis scored at the end of the first half, and the game did not see its last goal until Amy Cook scored for the Spiders to end the game with a score of 6-1.

The women's field hockey team dominated Appalachian State University on Saturday in a game that finished with a score of 8-1.

The Richmond field hockey team beat the James Madison University Dukes Sunday afternoon, recording its second consecutive shutout victory at Crenshaw Field. Sophomore Amy Cooke scored the game's only goal with a penalty stroke 18 minutes into the first half.
