Rage, rage, rage downtown Thursday, show up to your Friday classes smelling like vodka and bad decisions, take a nap before Flo Rida on Friday, (giving you a full four hours of sleep/recovery) before THE ROAST on Saturday, the post roast on Saturday night and the detox on Sunday full of regret, carbs and in extreme cases, a Plan-B. True Life: Pig Roast weekend. Here are some of the bests and worsts:

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear" drew liberal activists, moderates, absurdists, college students and no shortage of people in outrageous Halloween costumes to the National Mall on Saturday, Oct. 30. About 215,000 people attended the rally, according to a crowd estimate commissioned by CBS News.

The issue that seems to be getting lost within the current dialogue is not whether Victoria Cobb and the Family Foundation have the right to speak out against LGBTQ people, abortion and an array of other issues — because she ABSOLUTELY DOES. The issue here is that the University of Richmond and the Jepson School should not be awarding a person, however good her intentions may be, and in turn, an organization which fights to oppress an already oppressed and marginalized group.

The first few weeks of the Obama presidency have been marked by both triumph and embarrassment. From the left's perspective, Obama triumphed in enacting a gargantuan spending bill that is supposed to pull our economy out of its current doldrums. The passage of this bill marked the first of what liberals hope are many legislative victories for the new administration. The embarrassment came in the form of several high-profile nominees and their inability to pay taxes properly.
