Less than an hour after President Crutcher addressed the university community for the first time, Mia Reinoso Genoni, dean of Westhampton College, sent an email to Westhampton students announcing a call for change. Bloomberg Businessweek Undergraduate Business School rankings were released online Tuesday morning, and the Robins School of Business fell 30 places from No. 16 to No. 46. In response to the fall in rankings, Nancy Bagranoff, Robins School of Business dean, and Jim Monks, the associate dean of undergraduate business programs, sent emails to business school students.

Update 11:58 a.m.: The Virginia state trooper, now identified as Chad P. Dermyer, 37, who was shot at the Greyhound bus station yesterday, died at VCU Medical Center last night, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Officers who were at the station to engage in a training exercise, returned shots to the shooter, who later died at VCU Medical Center. The shooter has had prior criminal charges and his body has been taken to to the state medical examiner’s office, per the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The shooter's identity is known by officials, but information has not been made public yet.

With new changes to the sexual misconduct policy that was updated at the start of the academic school year, University of Richmond will host a town forum event Wednesday with the hopes of educating the campus community on these changes, Beth Curry said, who is the coordinator for sexual misconduct education and advocacy on campus.
