Students registering for housing in on-campus apartments for the 2021-2022 academic year were unable to access StarRez, UR's automated housing system, when the selection portal opened at 9 a.m. on March 24, according to an email sent to affected students by Patrick Benner, director of residence life and housing.

UR moved to the Orange Stage of its physical distancing framework Thursday, as a result of consistent decreases in COVID-19 cases on campus and in surrounding areas, according to an email from administrators sent to the UR community Thursday.

A clerical error resulted in some University of Richmond students who are enrolled in dining plans to be charged for meals while in isolation or quarantine for COVID-19, Terry Baker, executive director of dining services, wrote in a statement to The Collegian shared by Sunni Brown, director of media and public relations.
