UR moved to the Orange Stage of its physical distancing framework Thursday, as a result of consistent decreases in COVID-19 cases on campus and in surrounding areas, according to an email from administrators sent to the UR community Thursday.

The University of Richmond resumed in-person campus tours for admitted students in November 2020, after suspending tours in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, said Rebecca Buffington, director of admission for recruitment and marketing.
With more information about masks becoming available as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the University of Richmond updated its mask requirements and is distributing KN95 and ASTM-certified level 3, meaning high barrier, disposable masks on campus.
