Enough is enough.

After Donald Trump, the undisputed frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, secured more huge (or yuuuge depending on your pronunciation) wins on Super Tuesday, including here in Virginia, and after the editor-at-large for The Forum praised Trump, The Collegian Editorial Board urges our readers to vote for anyone -- regardless of party -- other than Trump.

Although Trump has claimed to be “the least racist person that you have ever met,” his words and actions during the election cycle have shown otherwise. He has said the Mexican immigrants that come to America are rapists who bring drugs and crime. He proposed a ban on Muslims, who make up 23 percent of the world’s population, from entering the United States. He failed to disavow the Ku Klux Klan this weekend, telling CNN anchor Jake Tapper “I don’t know what group you’re talking about.” Thanks in part to this racist rhetoric, Trump has proven he is unfit to serve as president.

Voters have so far disagreed. This election has shown Americans want a fresh voice, and many people, unfortunately, have chosen Trump as that voice.

But Trump has not yet won, and many students at Richmond can still help prevent a Trump nomination. More than 80 percent of Richmond’s undergraduate population is out-of-state students, and many states where Richmond students hail from, such as New York, New Jersey and California, will not have their primaries for over a month.

If you are registered to vote in a state that has not yet had its primary, vote when your primary arrives. If you’re not going to be there on that date, fill out an absentee ballot. If you don’t know when your state’s primary is, here is a link. If you haven’t registered to vote, register to vote. If you don’t know how to register to vote, here is a link.

And please, at all costs, vote for someone not named Donald Trump.
