The Spiders’ lone goal came from senior Keaira Clark off a penalty kick. The team's record fell to 1-12-1.

Men’s Tennis 

Oct. 5-7: Richmond Invitational, Richmond, Virginia

Junior George Lovitt finished the weekend 3-1 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles play with his partner, sophomore Joe Nardini.

Women’s Tennis

Oct. 5-7: Navy Invitational, Annapolis, Maryland

Junior Kiana Marshall and sophomore Emily Dunbar won the tournament’s doubles title, finishing 3-0. 

Field Hockey

Oct 5: Loss 0-2 vs. University of Massachusetts

The Spiders failed to score in a close contest versus their conference rival. 

Oct. 7: Win 5-1 vs. Towson University

A pair of goals from first-year Steffie Bongers, along with goals from first-year Jessica Hendry and sophomores Abra Granger and Cadera Smith, helped the team improve its record to 4-9.
