With spring finally in the air, it is time to soak up these next five weeks of the second semester. 

Printmaking 

Tuesday noon to 2 p.m. 

Take advantage of this free event for UR students, faculty and staff. Book Arts Program Director, Jen Thomas, will provide printmaking materials in the Harnett Museum of Art in the Modlin Center. Drop by to get your daily fix of creativity. Visit here for more information. 

Popcorn Bar Pop-up 

Wednesday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

What’s poppin'? Head to the Heilman Dining Center on Wednesday for a pop-up popcorn bar. There will be different sweet and savory options to mix and match. 

Startup Virginia Intern Fair 

Thursday 10 a.m. to noon. 

Looking for a summer internship? Register for this virtual internship fair by Monday at 11:59 p.m. to get the opportunity to meet with founders of local startups. The networking event will allow participants to learn about different summer internship opportunities. The startups vary from telehealth platforms for people with autism to an ingredient-conscious lip care brand. Visit here for more information. 

March Richmond Makers Market 

Saturday 12 p.m.-6 p.m.

Be sure to check out the Richmond Makers Market this weekend at Basic City Beer Co. The market will include 38 artists, crafters, jewelers as well as serve pizza, beer and even Girl Scout cookies. Visit here for more information. 

Masa Chill Fest

Saturday 6 p.m.-8p.m. 

The Modlin Arts Student Ambassadors is hosting a Chill Fest event in partnership with the will program at the Pier for students to take some time to unwind. This event will include jewelry making, coloring, origami, and sticker making. The event will also include a performance of Octaves & Off the Cuff.
