Free car checks for Vehicle Safety Day
It’s one of my favorite days of the whole semester…Vehicle Safety Day! If you’re roadtripping home for the break, get your car checked for free in the Jepson Alumni Center Parking Lot on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can enjoy a slice of pizza and a soda while you wait!
DIY Leaf Prints with the Book Arts Studio
Stop by the Book Arts Studio for a creative printmaking session on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. Make your own artwork using real leaves, ink and gelli plates. All materials are provided – unless you want to bring your own leaf! You can learn more here.
Guided Forest Therapy Walks
The Eco-Corridor is offering guided Forest Therapy Walks on Friday, Nov. 21. These sessions are a part of the International Education Week Ecochallenge and are led by certified experts. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, the sessions are designed to reduce stress, support cognitive clarity and deepen your relationship with nature. You can register here.
Tea time with new ‘InclusiviTeas’ series
The Office of the Vice President for Inclusion and Belonging will host a Tuesday Break on Nov. 18 at 9 a.m. in the THC Hanging Lounge. You can stop by for tea, light refreshment, and information about InclusiviTeas, a new program series with Modlin focused on inclusion and community building on campus.

The Department of Theatre and Dance will present “The Meeting” beginning Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alice Jepson Theatre. The play explores an imagined encounter between civil rights activists Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, blending moments of spirit, empathy and humor. Audience members are encouraged to arrive an hour early for a lobby exhibition and preshow activities. You can view showing times and get your tickets for free, here.
