So you might be wondering at this point if I ever eat at restaurants that don't deserve 4 out of 5 stars, but I stuck in the Ethiopian restaurant a few weeks ago to mix things up. When coming up with my ratings I try to base them on restaurants I know of the same caliber. For example, Tarrant's Cafe from my column a few weeks ago cannot be compared to Acacia Mid-Town even though they both received four out of five stars. In my mind, Tarrant's serves a completely different, more casual dining purpose whereas Acacia Mid-Town is more upscale and refined. However, both places deserved four out of five stars for their genre of restaurant.
It's the fourth quarter for my fellow Collegian seniors and me. I'm sure Papa Spear and the rest of the journalism department had a collective cringe with my lede, which began with probably the most cliche saying in sports, but it's true. This is our last issue together, and seniors throughout the campus are wrapping up their theses, projects and more as we prepare for what lies ahead.

It always seems that my best writing occurs after two in the morning. I'm not sure why. Maybe a science major could explain it to me. But I've been meaning to write to The Collegian for the last three and a half years and never got around to it. Now seems as good a time as any, before all the other seniors start getting nostalgic and hogging the space in April.
Deciding what to write about has not been an easy task because there are so many topics that I feel I have neglected. I wanted to write about the institution of marriage and affirmative action (negative and positive sentiments, respectively, as I hope avid Collegian readers could have guessed). I wanted to write about racism (and its rampant prominence in this country), and about roadkill (it gives me emotional meltdowns). There are a lot of extremely important issues that I never got around to tackling, and for that I apologize.
DENVER — The No. 12 seed University of Richmond upset No. 5 Vanderbilt, 69-66, Thursday afternoon at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo. Senior Kevin Anderson scored nine straight points as Richmond went on a 9-0 run to turn a three-point deficit into Richmond's first lead of the game at 51-48 with 12:04 left to play in the game. "We don't want to be one-and-done," Anderson said. "We're excited for this win. We want to keep looking forward into this tournament, not just being satisfied with this win. ... We won one game, but didn't win the tournament. That's our ultimate goal."
