Happy Valentine’s Day to those celebrating and Happy Friday to the rest! Whether you are ready to celebrate tonight with your partner or your friends, or you are just enjoying your independence, watching a movie is always a fun way to spend your night.
Have you seen the memes about January 2020 being the longest month ever? That’s how movie fans probably felt with January’s movie releases. But don’t worry! February is here and we can start fresh because this month is bringing many good movies.

The first month of 2020 is here, bringing a few new drama, horror and gangster movies. I can’t say it was hard to choose which ones to include in my recommendations. If you decide to head to the movies, your options for a good show are limited this month. Nevertheless, I have selected six movies that I find intriguing and worth checking out.
While waiting for the 2020 Oscar nominations to be announced Monday, I decided to make a few predictions for the movies, actors and actresses to be nominated for the categories of best picture, best actor and best actress.
December is here and with it are some promising movies and performances that are worth checking out. Whether winter break gives you free time to hit a movie theater or you prefer catching a new Netflix movie at home, this list has you covered. December releases are also the last movies eligible for the 2020 Oscars, so for those of you who are fans of the Academy Awards, pay close attention to the gems of this month.

Ever since the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, erupted in 2008 with the release of “Iron Man,” audiences have become accustomed to the massive scale that the MCU employs with each of its movies. Moreover, audiences have grown attached and familiar with characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk. Each of these characters bring something unique to the MCU, but there isn’t a great deal of diversity with their corresponding films considering each of these characters are white males that receive most of the screen time. Although there is some diversity with characters such as Black Widow, Scarlet Witch and the Falcon, they are primarily used as secondary characters. Until now.
