The Westhampton College Ring Dance will take place on March 25 at the Omni Hotel after it was postponed twice because of COVID-19.
Ring Dance, which was scheduled to take place at the Omni Richmond Hotel on Feb. 5, has been postponed to an undetermined date after spring break, according to an email sent to all members of Westhampton College Class of 2022 and their families.

The ticket price for Ring Dance was raised this year to $60 from $50, sparking conversation about the financial burden for participants.
Lodges might not be used only by fraternities in the future. The presidents of student government on campus formed a committee in November to discuss allowing non-Greek-life student clubs and organizations to use a vacant lodge as a social space.
On her first day of school, Sarah Petty, 33, stood outside of the Cannon Memorial Chapter just as snow soundlessly began to fall. Petty, a University of Richmond legacy, said thereupon that instant she had experienced true magic.

Ring Dance is a celebration of Westhampton College that is believed to date back to the 1940s, but the original year remains unknown, according to the 2019 Ring Dance program. The ceremony contains several traditions and is a rite of passage to recognize Westhampton juniors becoming upperclassmen and honor their respective achievements.
