The first people students might interact with on any given day are the Heilman Dining Center cashiers. Most of these interactions are brief. Some students keep their headphones in, offer their card and walk on. Some might say hello and wish the cashier a good morning.

Conner Evans recaps the week in news as reported by his classmates who cover the Virginia General Assembly in the journalism department's course, Public Affairs Reporting. This week's show focuses on the recently passed budgets from the House of Delegates and Senate, as well as legislation about how to punish the intentional spread of STIs, in-state tuition for immigrants, regardless of citizenship status, and resolving unfair treatment of active military members.
SOPHIE seemed to begin as an enigma, and only slowly did she reveal herself to us. Over the past half-decade or so, she rose in popularity to the point where she worked with some of the biggest and most inventive artists working today including Charli XCX, Nicki Minaj, Vince Staples and Madonna.

Students at the University of Richmond have adapted academically, socially and emotionally to a strange and volatile fall semester. Policies formed to stop the spread of COVID-19 have had the necessary impact of making students more isolated and have removed typical avenues via which students find friendship and connection.

This summer, many University of Richmond students became part of a nationwide movement to abolish Greek life on college campuses. Dozens of members of Interfraternity Council fraternities and Panhellenic Council sororities disaffiliated from their organizations following the rise of an Abolish Richmond Greek Life movement, which began in the beginning of July with the inception of an Instagram account of the same name.
