The University of Richmond is praised for its low student-to-faculty ratio, allowing students to have close relationships with their professors. But there are some faculty on campus who can say this dynamic has been taken to an even deeper level, considering they live in on-campus dormitories among the students.

There are 171,476 words in current use, according to the Second Edition Oxford English Dictionary published in 1989. There are thousands of words to learn and millions more to be created.

The past few years have been pivotal in engaging the entire University of Richmond community to foster a more inclusive campus with events like the Black Excellence Gala and movements like the Trans Inclusivity Initiative. But according to sophomore Melissa Lewis, there is one part of the community that has largely been left out of the conversation, and that is those who receive disability accommodations and how best to serve them.
