Although their formal bonds of sisterhood were dissolved late last semester, former active members of the Richmond chapter of Alpha Chi Omega have endured through a process that initially left them stunned.

The second "Stepping 101: Hollywood Nights" competition, hosted by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. at Millhiser Gym on November 12, 2010, featured the University of Richmond's six Panhellenic sororities: Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Pi Beta Phi. They competed for a $700 prize, which was won by Delta Delta Delta.

Alpha Chi Omega hosted Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, a new philanthropy event held Tues., Oct. 15. Four-person teams registered to walk a relay around the lake, learning facts about domestic violence at different stations. Teams were encouraged to wear heels to represent a day in the life of a woman suffering through domestic violence.
