As COVID-19 spread across the world, the University of Richmond has modified global engagement opportunities.
“Not having a job anymore is really problematic,” Chau said. “It really did just throw a stick in my bike wheels, to be honest.”
The adjustments include an extension on the deadline for students to withdraw from classes, a ban on giving out putative grades I,V and M and a grading option of credit/no credit for students.
I do not blame UR for taking this threat seriously. However, some of UR's actions have made some students more anxious about the coming crisis.
The University of Richmond will delay commencement, move to remote instruction and shift to remote work for employees for the rest of the spring semester.
