UR played three games over the holiday in the Vibrant Thanksgiving Classic in Des Moines, Iowa, and won each contest, bringing the team’s win streak to six on the young season.

Through one half, the score showed 28-25. Graduate center Neal Quinn hit a layup at the buzzer that kept the Spiders within three points of CU heading into halftime.
Last season, the Spiders hosted Davidson College in the first round of the playoffs and defeated the Wildcats 41-0. Such a large margin of victory gave then-redshirt first-year quarterback Kyle Wickersham the opportunity to get some playing time in the postseason.
