Baseball ready for season opener against Alabama

Pitt Field, home to the University of Richmond’s baseball team, has undergone multiple additions throughout the 2022 offseason, including a seating pavilion and a state-of-the-art batting and pitching practice facility.
In the second half of the game, UR found some momentum. The Spiders went on a seven-point scoring run in the 17th minute and took the lead for a moment.
Roche said he tries to be hyper-focused in those moments. He knew the Spiders had to get a stop to seal the game.
After a 15-point win against George Mason University at home, the Spiders were unable to get the job done on the road against Fordham.
UR celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day and wore pink jerseys in honor of their Play4Kay game, dedicated to raising money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
The UR swim and dive team and men's and women's tennis teams lost this week but the women's basketball team brought home a win against GMU and the men won against URI.
