A strong running game and four field goals from Brandon Jordi, which tied a school record for field goals in a single game, helped University of Richmond (3-6, 1-4 CAA) end a four-game losing streak and win its first conference game Saturday against University at Albany (1-8, 0-5), 27-10.
"I said in the locker room after the game, 'Hats off to two guys: Brandon Jordi...and Seth Fisher,'" Richmond coach Danny Rocco said.
The Spiders rushed for 192 yards in the game, which is the most they have rushed for in a single game since a win over Liberty University Sep.
