The University of Richmond women’s basketball team opened Atlantic 10 Conference play with a 69-46 win over Loyola University Chicago on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Robins Center.
People from across campus gathered together to hear the University of Richmond’s faculty-staff band, SABBATICAL, perform live at The Cellar.
At a discussion titled “Universities Under Attack And What That Means For You,” participants gathered in the Carole Weinstein International Center commons to hear university professors explored the importance of academic freedom for professors and its impacts on the quality of higher education.
In a chilly, candle-lit Stern Plaza, the ceremony began with opening remarks from associate director of the Hub for Student Inclusion and Community Casey Butler, who acknowledged Richmond’s history as the capital of the Powhatan confederacy and violence and oppression that has since persisted.
