Bench Top Innovations: The Great Bake Off
Taste – and celebrate! – products produced by the four student teams in the Bench Top Innovations program competing to join past winners like Absurd Snacks and NOOSH. Join students, faculty and staff on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 5-7 p.m. in the Queally Admissions Building for the fifth annual Great Bake Off for the Bench Top Innovations Program. Green Halloween in the Eco-Corridor
Take a spooky stroll through the Eco-Corridor on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 6 p.m. Enjoy pumpkins, scarecrows, sustainable candy and Halloween storytelling at 5:30 p.m. in the Outdoor Classroom. Details and RSVP here!
Ty Myers Live at The National
Enjoy TikTok hits and country-rock ballads like “Though It Was Love” and “Drinkin’ Alone” performed live by artist Ty Myers. The Texan-born singer-songwriter takes the stage at The National on Friday, Oct. 31. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. You can learn more and buy tickets here.
The Rocky Horror Show at the Dominion Energy Center
Celebrate Halloween night, Friday, Oct. 31, with the Richmond Symphony and Richmond Triangle Players performing "The Rocky Horror Show." Enjoy the cult-classic with a full orchestra for one night only! The show starts at 7 p.m. and costumes are encouraged! Get your tickets here.
Noseferatu the Vampyre Screening with Hard Light Cinemas
Kick off Halloween a day early with a screening of "Nosferatu the Vampyre" on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. Directed by Werner Herzog, this 1979 horror classic portrays a Dracula story in the Weimar era. The event is hosted by Hard Light Cinemas, a Richmond collective of cinephiles that brings unique, non-mainstream films to Richmond, in collaboration with the UR Film Studies and German Studies Program.
