Academic stress doesn't bring out the best in any of us. Some retreat to the library for 24+ hours, subsisting off 8:15 bagels and red eyes (double shot, iced, with skim). Some plan ahead, only to spend the morning leading up to the exam or deadline freaking out that they didn't study hard enough, or forgot an essential detail.

Alas, it is the final edition of The Collegian before school ends and everyone goes his or her own way for the summer (but not before going out with a final metaphorical and literal bang at beach week). So, my question for everyone: What do you have to lose?

We laugh at Snooki and her Jersey Shore posse as they dump three pounds of bronzer on their faces every time they go out. But are we laughing in disgust, or from experience? Honestly, I don't think these girls are much different from many today who would rather die than go pale. Even among those who are less extreme, bronzer is a key piece in most makeup bags and the tanning salon is at the top of most prom (and Ring Dance) to-do lists.
