Saturday, 4,200 fans watched the inaugural game for University of Richmond's men's lacrosse team at Robins Stadium. The fans also nearly watched a huge upset, but the No. 8 University of Virginia Cavaliers came back in the second half and pulled out a 13-12 win.

Former University of Richmond athletic greats Sean Casey (baseball) and Lou Wacker (football) will be inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in late April. The Richmond alumni and five others were announced as the 2014 hall of fame class at a ceremony at the State Capitol in early January.
When freshman Jackie Arnold walked into her room in Moore Hall last October and saw a small brown animal on her floor, she thought it was a mouse. But when she got closer, it hissed at her. Arnold's room was home to a bat.
