Spiders knock off Billikens to stay alive in A-10 Tournament

The University of Richmond baseball team came to play in this year’s conference postseason tournament, winning its first game against The George Washington University on May 21 and now its second game against the top-seeded team in the bracket, Saint Louis University, in a 13-10 victory on May 22.

Spiders defeated in NCAA Tournament first round

After a thrilling 14-13 victory over the University of Massachusetts on May 5 to claim a second-straight Atlantic 10 Championship, the University of Richmond women’s lacrosse team fell short in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, losing to the University of Pennsylvania 16-5 on May 10.

UMass Scrapes by Spiders to Clinch Conference Honors

It seemed only fitting that the final day of conference action would see the University of Richmond women’s lacrosse team host the University of Massachusetts in a tangle for first place in the Atlantic 10 conference. Unfortunately for the upset-minded home side, however, it was the Minutewomen who eked out a 13-12 win on April 27.
