Study abroad is on the rise at UR

A trademark of the University of Richmond experience for many students is the opportunity to study abroad, and according to UR International Education, the number of students studying abroad is increasing.

“It’s been the honor of my life to represent this community, Richmond, and then my Commonwealth as governor, and now the Commonwealth and country in the U.S. Senate,” Kaine said earlier this morning. “And I’m a guy who can work across the aisle to bring results, that’s what I’ve done since I was on city council and mayor right here, and I’m gonna keep doing that with a lot of energy should I be fortunate to win a third term.”

Sunrise Social Club connects UR students with local community members

“I think the University of Richmond has a lot of clubs already, but it kind of feels like a bubble where there aren't that many opportunities to meet people off of campus, and I think that's so important, especially for me as a senior," club founder Ava Tankersley said. "I'm not gonna have this community of being a student after I graduate, so finding communities that engage everybody, that was always my goal."
