“The goal went by really quick,” sophomore forward Clara Larripa said. “I didn’t even know it happened until Valen [Luna Paratore] started to celebrate. I was really happy with today.”
“We knew we had to give 100% to win this game and we did that so we’re really excited to be 4-0 in the conference,” sophomore forward Valen Luna Paratore said.
Chances for UR were fleeting as the half progressed while the Ramblers found their footing, although Loyola Chicago’s back line was kept busy by senior forward Emma Coleman and a badgering Spiders’ offensive front.
“I’m a little disappointed,” junior midfielder Madelyn Curtis said. “This is a rivalry so we all wanted to win, but there was a lot to learn from the game. We have a lot to focus on for our upcoming game on Friday."
UR just picked up its fourth victory in a row, completely flipping the script from its first two games and moving to 4-2 after taking down North Carolina A&T University 20-17.
