Possession of Fake ID

Oct. 10, 12:31 p.m. A Richmond College student attempted to use a fake ID at McCormack's Irish Pub and left his belongings at the pub. Pub employees returned his things to university police and told them about the fake ID.

Oct. 20, 12:26 p.m. A Westhampton College student was arrested on a charge of having a fake ID after a university police officer pulled her over during a traffic stop. The student handed the officer a Massachusetts license but the officer saw a Virginia license, checked it and found it to be fake.

Illness/Liquor Law Violation

Oct. 18, 12:05 a.m. An RC student was referred to the dean for underage drinking in Marsh Hall. An ambulance was called, but he refused treatment.

Oct. 18, 3:49 a.m. An RC student was taken from Dennis Hall to St. Mary's Hospital for an alcohol-related illness. He was referred to the dean for underage drinking.

Drug Narcotic Violation

Oct. 11, 5:39 p.m. An RC student found and turned in a black bag containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia near Boatwright Memorial Library.

Drug/Liquor Law Violation

Oct. 11, 5:39 p.m. A male juvenile who is not related to the university was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs and alcohol at UR Stadium during the Richmond vs. James Madison University football game.

Breaking and Entering

Oct. 18, 2:24 a.m. A security guard found two people, a male and a female, in the Heilman Dining Center after hours. It is not known if they were students or if anything was missing. A security camera revealed that the male had brown hair, was about 5'8" and was wearing a brown hat, brown shirt and orange and black striped pants. The female was blonde, about 5'5" and was wearing a white blouse and jeans.

Simple Assault

Oct. 19, 2:39 a.m. An RC student entered another RC student's room in Lakeview and argued with his girlfriend, a WC student who was in the room. The RC student whom the room belonged to tried to interfere and was slapped by the boyfriend. No injuries were reported and no charges have been filed.

Theft

Oct. 9, 2:09 p.m. $140 was stolen from the Bursar's office in Sarah Brunet Hall.

Oct. 10, 12:45 p.m. $26 was stolen from a female employee's desk drawer in Sarah Brunet Hall.

Oct. 16, 6:31 p.m. Someone entered an unlocked room in Gray Court and stole $60 from one RC student's belongings and $15 from another. The students were not in the room at the time.

Burglary

Oct. 15, 4 p.m. $80 was stolen from an RC student's unlocked room in Gray Court. The student was not there when the crime occurred.

Hit and Run

Oct. 14, 5:59 p.m. The driver's-side rear bumper of an RC student's Infiniti was damaged in K-lot. The damage is estimated at $200.

Vandalism

Oct. 14, 4:28 p.m. A swastika, peace sign, sun and cross were drawn in pencil on a plastic table near the T.C. Williams School of Law. The Collegian reported on the incident in the online version and on this page of this week's issue.
