Two-Minute Drill: 10/22/09

• Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed was cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct outside a bar a few blocks from Heinz Field hours after the team's 27-14 win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. ... Apparently the Pittsburgh police weren't impressed with Reed's three missed field goals this season.

• Rush Limbaugh has been dropped from a group of investors interested in buying the St. Louis Rams. Limbaugh is famous for conservative banter as well as his short stint as an ESPN NFL commentator, during which he said the media was trying to magnify the ability of black quarterbacks. ... Last time I checked, black quarterbacks still play in the NFL, so Limbaugh should probably keep his big mouth and big money out of the NFL.

• Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn has been stripped of his play calling duties by the team's management. ... Seeing as a coach's job is to call the plays, Zorn shouldn't be too upset by the move. Now he's being paid $3 million a year to watch football from the sidelines.

• New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has an RBI in each of his last eight postseason games, setting a Major League Baseball record. ... The only logical explanation for A-Rod's sudden playoff turnaround: girlfriend Kate Hudson must be a good-luck charm.
