How to... make your football Saturdays a success

1) Make sure to not over-indulge yourself the night before. There's no quicker way to ruin your Saturday than to sleep through kick-off.

2) Meet up with your friends before you head to the lodges. This is a perfect time to pre-game, plan out food arrangements and get pumped for the day.

3) Keep the atmosphere lively with competitve games such as cornhole or pong. Standing around talking in a parking lot only gets you so far

4) Go to the lodges. Enjoy the food, drink and music. And if nothing else, enjoy the frat stars in rare form.

5) Talk to some of the alumni. Let them tell you stories about their glory days. Don't get them going too long though, or you may be stuck in a 40 minute lecture on how to enjoy college, because it's all downhill after that.

6) Try to get to the game early. You don't want to get stuck in a seat next to the fat, sweaty guy with the most school spirit, or the girl who doesn't know what a touchdown is.

7) Get into the game. Don't worry about a paper that's due on Monday, or what you're doing later. Live in the moment and show the guys your support.
