Richmond quarterback Kyle Lauletta throws a pass downfield.

University of Richmond football coach accepted the head coaching job at University of Delaware on Tuesday morning nearly two weeks after voicing concern about Richmond administrators' vision for the football program to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Richmond football players didn't wait long to react, taking to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the Richmond athletic department's handling of the situation.

A number of other Richmond players chose to retweet or like to above tweets, but did not send any tweets of their own.

If the players' claim that the athletic department did not make a strong effort to keep Rocco is at all true, that raises questions about the relationship between Rocco and administrators, as well as the administration's vision for the program considering Rocco's success.
