April 6: Loss 2-5 vs. James Madison University
The University of Richmond club baseball team played rival VCU on April 5 at Pitt Field in a doubleheader series. The Spiders won both games handily, finishing 17-2 and 11-5, respectively.
Led by a strong pitching staff and deep bench, the University of Richmond baseball team holds a record of 16-13-1 and can continue its strong season heading into a long stretch of Atlantic 10 Conference play.
The University of Richmond men's basketball team finished with a 13-20 record this past season — its second 20-loss season in a row — but head coach Chris Mooney sees a light at the end of the tunnel.
