Vasil Kiryienka of Belarus edged out Italian Adriano Malori by nine seconds in front of the largest crowds of the event so far in the men’s elite time trial at the UCI Road World Championships, claiming the first ever gold for Belarus in the 31-year-old event.
The third day of the UCI Road World Championships on Tuesday featured another pair of individual time trials: the men’s junior race and the women’s elite race.
The second day of the UCI Road World Championships consisted of individual time trial races for U23 Men and Women’s Juniors.
The 2015 UCI Road World Championships began in Richmond yesterday with the Men’s and Women’s Team Trials.
