Absurd Snacks, a company founded by University of Richmond students, has officially launched its first product on March 21, an alternative trail mix made of beans. The mix consists of chickpeas, green peas, quinoa, flax seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, oats and fava beans.

With the first week of classes under our belts, it’s a great time to get back involved in events on campus and in the Richmond community. Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and there are several events on and off campus to honor MLK. Here are some related events going on this week as well as additional activities to look out for.
