“The message we wanted to give today was that this was a welcoming space for everyone regardless of what faith you belong to,” Muslim and first-year student Noor Ul Ain Kaifee said.
Manager of Information Services’ IT communications and engagement, Kevin Creamer, said that Information Services surveyed 900 students about their major technology concerns. The most frequent response it received was the performance of the wireless services on campus.
This year, The Collegian will be covering student government meetings with a weekly update. Richmond College and Westhampton College have their own student body governments.
“This organization uses music, a universal language, to bond all kinds of different people under this one cause and build awareness. Because the more that people know, the more we can take back our power over time.”

Motivational speaker and transgender activist Dexter Davis spoke at the Carole Weinstein International Center on March 31 to celebrate transgender day of visibility.
The mission of the program is to foster wellness, to encourage openness and to support LGBTQ+ community-building initiatives both on and off campus.
